At the "A Gaivota" Children's Center we celebrated the arrival of autumn with lots of sensory and fun activities

Integrated Support Centre for Children "A Gaivota"

Sensory activities are those that stimulate children's senses, i.e. hearing, smell, taste, touch and sight. The aim is to get the brain to assimilate the different stimulus channels, increasing the channels for knowledge input and adaptation of the body when faced with a new stimulus.

By constantly encouraging the sensory part, we are stimulating the child's overall development, from the cognitive, social, emotional and linguistic parts.
